Privacy Policy
This policy explains what ParknPool collects when you use parknpool.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It covers this website. It does not cover anything you send us by post, or a conversation with one of our account managers outside the site.

Who we are
ParknPool Corporation supplies commercial site furnishings — benches, picnic tables, pool furniture, bleachers and related products — to businesses, municipalities, schools and other organisations. What you give us
You give us information when you choose to. Depending on what you do on the site, that can include:
- Your name, company, email address, postal address and phone number, when you request a quote, ask for a printed catalog, submit a contact or design services form, or create an account.
- What you are interested in — the products on a quote, the notes and questions you add to it, and any files you attach.
- Your order and delivery details, if you place an order, including the address we ship to.
- What you type into live chat on the site.
We ask for a business address and phone number because we sell to organisations and most orders ship on a freight carrier that needs them. You do not have to give us anything to browse the catalogue.
What we collect automatically
Like most websites, we collect some information about the visit itself:
- Your IP address, browser, device type and operating system.
- The pages you look at, what you search for, and the links you follow.
- How you reached us — a search engine, an email, an advertisement or a direct visit.
- If you call a phone number shown on the site, the number you dialled, your phone number, and which pages you had visited. The phone number on the page changes between visits so we can tell which marketing brought the call.
Cookies and similar technology
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use them for three different purposes, and they are not all the same.
Strictly necessary. These make the site work and cannot be switched off: keeping you signed in, remembering what is in your cart and quote, protecting forms against spam and automated abuse, and keeping your session secure. These come from ParknPool, from CleanTalk, which screens form submissions, and from DataDome, which blocks automated traffic.
Analytics. These tell us which pages are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve the site. We use Google Analytics 4.
Advertising and attribution. These let us measure which advertising brings people to the site, and let advertising platforms show our products to people who have visited. We use Google Ads, the Meta pixel, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and CallRail for phone calls.
Chat and support. SnapEngage and Shoply run the chat on the site and set cookies so a conversation survives moving between pages.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies in their settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, parts of the site — signing in, the cart and the quote builder — will stop working.
How we use what we collect
- To answer your quote requests, questions and catalog requests, and to send you the quote itself.
- To process and deliver orders, and to arrange freight.
- To run and improve the site, and to understand which products and pages people are looking for.
- To measure our advertising and reach people who are likely to need what we sell.
- To protect the site against spam, fraud and automated abuse.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money.
We share it with the companies that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work:
- Manufacturers and freight carriers, to make and deliver what you ordered.
- Payment processors, who handle card details directly — see below.
- The analytics, advertising, chat and security providers named above.
- Our hosting and email providers.
We also share information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Some of the advertising tools above work by sharing information about your visit with platforms such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn. Under some US state privacy laws that counts as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” even though no money changes hands. You can opt out — see Your choices.
Payment
If you pay by card, the card details go directly to our payment processor and are handled under the PCI Data Security Standard. ParknPool does not see or store full card numbers. Many of our customers pay by purchase order instead, in which case we hold the order paperwork rather than any card details.
Your choices
- You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email sales@parknpool.com.
- You can opt out of analytics and advertising cookies through your browser settings, or through the opt-out tools Google, Meta and LinkedIn each provide.
- You can ask us to stop sending you marketing email at any time — every marketing email we send has an unsubscribe link, and it works.
- Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state law, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising. Ask us and we will tell you what applies and honour it.
We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and order records for as long as we need them to support the sale and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. We keep account information until you ask us to close the account. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the period each provider sets, which is typically no more than 26 months.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, access to customer records is limited to staff who need it, and payment details never reach our systems. No website can promise perfect security, but we take it seriously and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects you.
Children
The site is intended for businesses and organisations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on the site.
