UV stable, mildew-resistant plastisol (polyvinyl) coats the entire bench. This coating is compliant with worldwide standards. Even the legs have this coating! The coated seats are very comfortable and won't get too hot from the sun. In addition, they are built to be tough! The seats don't sag in the middle because we use only top quality, durable metal. The 1/8+ inch layer of plastisol coating is bonded directly to the metal so rust will NEVER be a problem.
